A crucial element

Step one of moving is.... (drum roll please)... building a fence to keep all of the critters safely contained.

It is back breaking work, though... or at least that is what I hear.

Not beautiful, but functional. And that is what is most important, right? Right? Please tell me so, because I still ache for beautiful.

Do you know what I think is beautiful? Close ups. I love them. In this case, it is a red farm gate.

  1. As we say around here, "SAFETY FIRST!"
You can always plant stuff later to disguise the fence. It pretty much blends in with the foliage, though.

  2. Looks excellent to us. Our hu-dad chuckle as he thinks of our 8 foot fence concreted into the ground. Sibe Quentin is quite functional, but not so artful.

  3. Looks like a good fence to me! And I think that it looks like the fence is far away, which must make for a HUGE yard!

  4. First thing we did when we moved halfway across the country with four pups!!! In fact we even made all the arrangements for the fence in Kansas from our former home in Connecticut - safety is utmost.
